I, like most mom's, find my daughter to be both unbearably adorable and entertaining. So I decided to start a blog completely dedicated to her quirky personality. This way we can share the love with anyone interested. Being Sadie's mom is the best thing that ever happened to me, so I hope you enjoy The Adventures of Little Miss Sadie Laree as much as I do!

September 2006

Now that the nursery is painted time to organize! Mommy put shelves up in my room. I also got a package from Grandma Connie, she so sweet.

Mommy woke up at midnight to the sound of banging. She followed the sound downstairs to the automatic dog feeder to find Milo banging his head against the door of it over and over trying to get food out of it. It turns out that there wasn't one piece of food in it. What else could mommy do but to go to the store and get them a bag of food and filled it up. Thank heavens for a grocery store open 24 hours! Mommy can just imagine what was going on in Milo's head trying to get food out of the feeder. It has never ever been empty before, he was probably wondering what the heck was going on. Sticking his head in had always worked before. It didn't work this time, maybe this time, no, well then maybe this time, or this time, or this time etc…lol, silly boy.

Cousin Travis called mommy today to see how we are doing, that was so thoughtful. Mommy also threw up today out of the blue, she thought she was done with that. It turns out that it was just a fluke though. That morning sickness was quit unpleasant, ok it was awful I'm not gonna lie to you. I'll spare you the details, but mommy says calling is morning sickness is very miss leading because it is actually all day and all night sickness. She also wonders why no one tells you how much your hips will hurt. They do say you'll have lower back pain and that has proven to be true, so that was a nice heads up. She also complains a lot about how ridiculously dry her skin is, but I promise it will all be better once I get out of here. She also had no idea how congested her nasal passage would be, but fortunately her doctor gave her something to help that so she can get some much needed sleep at night.

It's getting closer to my arrival so mommy and daddy took some prenatal classes at the hospital. They were very educational and helpful. Now if they can just retain that information from now until I get here. Mommy thought that memory troubles during pregnancy was a silly excuse pregnant women came up with to explain their flaky behavior, but it's not. There are times when mommy will be in mid sentence and completely forget what she was talking about.

Maggie threw up mommy and daddy's bed, what is it wither her and excreting things on their bed?

Mommy was having a cinnamon roll craving yesterday at work, so Leonard (the market director) brought cinnamon rolls to work today, what a nice guy. Mommy craves a lot of things, but mostly watermelon, mmmm.

Four years of marriage, it's mommy and daddy's four year wedding anniversary! After mommy and daddy got back from celebrating their anniversary, grandma Jolene and mommy went Christmas shopping for me!

The child proofing has begun. Mommy put plugs in the electrical plug ins and latches on some of the cupboard doors. Little does she know, there's no such thing as completely baby proofing, she'll just have to learn that lesson on her own though.

The dogs have had a problem going to the bathroom in the house. Mommy got ed up and put diapers on all of the dogs. In the middle of the night Milo was acting like his diaper was really bothering him so she took it off of him. To her great surprise doing that, she dumped pee all over herself, she was covered in it, yuk. She had to get up, change, and wash herself off. Maggie tore her diaper off and peed in the hall. Sandy’s fell off in between the sheets. Molly was the only one that still had hers on by morning. That most definitely did not go as mommy had planned. I guess you live and learn.
