I, like most mom's, find my daughter to be both unbearably adorable and entertaining. So I decided to start a blog completely dedicated to her quirky personality. This way we can share the love with anyone interested. Being Sadie's mom is the best thing that ever happened to me, so I hope you enjoy The Adventures of Little Miss Sadie Laree as much as I do!

June 2006

Mommy spent the entire evening in bed trying to fight the inevitable, I won out in the end though, all the soda cracker and Sprite in the world could stop me. When mommy finally succumbed to the queasiness and made it out of the bathroom, daddy was sound asleep and snoring up a storm. This could be a long first trimester, mommy better brace herself :).

Mommy told everyone at work that I'm on the way. This way they have an expiation for why my mommy just can't seem to get herself to work on time, between the vomiting and exhaustion it's a pretty difficult task.

Mommy and daddy are buying a new house closer to daddy's work. When they went to do a walk through, they were visiting with their new neighbor and a fly flew right down mommy's shirt, lol.

There's been a lot of packing going on around here. Sometimes mommy packs a box, takes a nap, packs another box, rests for a half hour, and so on. This morning at 3:00 am she woke up to a loud crash down stairs. Upon investigation of this noise she spied the back end up Milo (our cocker spaniel) was sticking out of a box. Needless to say, she got him out and went back to bed.

We went to our pre-natal appointment. Mommy and the doctor tried to listen to the heartbeat, but not today. Oh well, next time for sure.

Mommy, daddy, and daddy's family drove to Mesquite today for the Jones family reunion. Mommy had no idea that a place could be sooooo hot! Stepping outside was like sticking your head in the oven. We went to Las Vegas and went to Circus Circus, daddy had a good time, but mommy and I just walked around and had snacks. After all we are in no condition to go on any roller coasters :). Tonight there was a wild round of the card game switch and daddy won thirty three pennies, wow! Though mommy forbade him from depositing his winnings into her purse, he did it anyways, lol. When we got home from the reunion, mommy was glad to be back in manageable temperatures :).
