I, like most mom's, find my daughter to be both unbearably adorable and entertaining. So I decided to start a blog completely dedicated to her quirky personality. This way we can share the love with anyone interested. Being Sadie's mom is the best thing that ever happened to me, so I hope you enjoy The Adventures of Little Miss Sadie Laree as much as I do!

August 2011

I started the next round of swimming lessons. Oh boy!

Today I got to watch a movie in my favorite place, mommy's bed!

I asked mom if she was thinking about Park and then informed her that I was thinking of him better than she was.

What a fun day, mommy took me to Smurfs, and then to the county fair in Ontario. We also got to go out for ice cream afterwards! We had a fun day! When I was getting out of the car, I put all of my things in a bucket that I brought that has a lid and said that it was a nifty container.

While we were at grammy's, mom asked everyone if they knew what spelt was. I said that I did. According to my endless wisdom, it's when you are thinking really hard about something and fall on your face. Then I added, or when you get kicked in the "bahootie".

Mom and I went over to her friend Maria's and mom made me a skirt. It's so cute, I'm very excited about it!

I had my very first slumber party today. The neighbor girl, Lexi, came over and spent the night with me, we had so much fun!

After mom took me out for MDFF and to the library, we went out to grammy's. While we were there, she made some accessories to go with the skirt she made me! She made me a purse, a headband, and some matching cloth flowers for all of them. They are so cute!

Grammy took me to her nephew Ryan Leonard's wedding reception. While I was there, mommy brought Scott. So grammy and I finally got to meet the guy she has been seeing.

We drove to Coeur d' Alene today for our vacation. Before we left, I said, "...I'm going to be exasperated." After we got checked into our hotel, we went to a dinner show where they put on a skit and performed some music, it all had a country western theme. I really liked it and was dancing in the aisles. The next day, we did a little shopping and then went to the museum. After that we went to a water park! Mom kept trying to get me to go down the slide with her. finally after all day after all day of trying to talk me into, I said that if she asked me again, I was going to whack her with my bun. Our last day there, we spent most of the day at the beach. Then we played in the pool at our hotel and went out to dinner after that. Mommy also got a me a new dress and then took me out for dessert. I had a lot of fun on our vacation, but when we got home, I said, "It's great to be home."

When I was eating my dinner, I gave mom the hand signal of "I'm watching you", by pointing to my eyes with my pointer and middle finger and then pointing them towards her, lol. I also drew a picture of mom with a circle around it and a line through it and put it on my door. I said that she wasn't allowed in my room. When she told me she was going to do the same thing to me, I didn't like the sound of that one bit, and took down my sign.

Mommy took me to spend the week with daddy. When we got to the meeting point, and she took me to the bathroom, I was rubbing my nose and said, "The only way to itch your nose is to rub it, now remember that."

July 2011

After a fun filled week with daddy, mommy picked me up and took me out to see the 4th of July fireworks with grandpa, grammy, and uncle Clancy. I saw a lot of people with their shirts off at the park and asked mommy why there were so many naked people.

Mommy didn't know it until I got into preschool last year and had to get up for school, but I am not a morning person. When I got up this morning, I said, "I don't feel like doing anything today." Then when mom asked me if I was eating my breakfast, I said, "I just need to chill for a little while."

I was watching "So You Think You Can Dance" and asked mom if a dancer that has the side of her head shaved was a girl. When she told me that it was a girl, I said, "I hate her hair" and went on to say that she looked stupid and that I don't like her. I also said to mom today, "You're so sweet to me mom."

Mommy watched her cousin Travis's daughter Fallynne. I was very helpful and had a lot of fun playing with her. Mommy asked me what my favorite part of it was and I told her that it was when Fallynne pooped in her diaper. Later in the day everyone came over and we had a birthday party for aunt Reeree. After that we went to the cemetery and released balloons.

I was talking about the song on "Pinocchio", When You Wish Upon A Star, and asked mom if dreams can come true. Then I watched the movie and asked mom if she knew how to find a wishing star. I said that I was going to wish for real chipmunks and a real puppy. I later said that I was just kidding about the puppy and that I didn't want one until I was older.

Last night when I woke up in the middle of the night mom took me out to wish on a star. The next morning, I asked her why my wish didn't come true. She told me that sometimes they don't happen right away, so thru out the day I repeated what she told me to any strangers that would listen.

When we were at grammy's, I called uncle James's dog Rider a "big ga-loot". Grandpa got me some roller skates and I really like them!

I had a fun day with mommy, we to the library, had MDFD, and went to the park. Later we made chocolate chip cookies! My favorite!

When mom got out of bed this morning, I gave mom a hug and said, "Give me a happy face." Later in the day, we got to go to the park and then we ate out!

What a great day! Mommy took me to the Roaring Springs water park today and I had a really good time, it was a lot of fun! On our way home we even got ice cream!

This morning when mom was trying to hurry me to eat my breakfast I told her that she was being a grumpy grouch, lol. Then I went to spend the week with daddy!

When I'm over at grammy's, I've been helping them let Ryder outside. I tweet like a bird and open the front door for him to go out. That silly dog thinks I'm a bird and follows me right out the door, I'm so tricky ;). I've also been saying when I need to go to the bathroom, but it's not an emergency, that my pee is patient. I was telling mom some kind of story and said, "...boom and then we're there." I asked her the other day if she even knows what patience is. A while ago, I said to mom, "Sorry mom, rules are rules."
