I, like most mom's, find my daughter to be both unbearably adorable and entertaining. So I decided to start a blog completely dedicated to her quirky personality. This way we can share the love with anyone interested. Being Sadie's mom is the best thing that ever happened to me, so I hope you enjoy The Adventures of Little Miss Sadie Laree as much as I do!

June 2011

I went to my very first swimming lesson, it was so much fun! I had lessons for two weeks and got to go off the diving board! One day after my lessons, we had a picnic at the park by the pool. After my last lesson, I got a report card and it passed to the next level. I was most excited that I got a sucker.

When mom was getting dressed, I wanted to pick out her shirt and said that it would be spectacular if I picked out what she wore, lol. I have a very good fashion sense, I may just grow up to be a fashion consultant.

Mommy took me to the circus and out for ice cream after wards. I loved the dancing girls, they were so sparkly!

Grandpa and uncle Clancy took me fishing for free fishing day. Clancy helped me catch a really big fish, but I absolutely refused to touch it. I picked a lure that I thought the fish would think was funny, lol.

When I did my web cam visit with daddy, I said, "I'm done discussing this". Later at grammy's, I called James's dog Rider a knuckle head. The other day when I blessed the food, I said, "Jesus, you know what to do..."

Lately when I don't like or want something, I'll say that it's makes me scratchy. That seems to me like a pretty legitimate excuse.

When mom was getting me a bedtime story to read me, I said, "Pick out an exciting one that's cool."

Mom was worried that I was going to spill my juice, so I reassured her that I had it handled by telling her, "Don't worry, I'm the boss of the juice". I later also said, "holy crap".

Today, when I was cleaning up in the basement, I said, "Mommy will you help me pick up all this crap." I also said that when I had the electric blanket on me that I thought it was going to cook me like a hot dog and that I was going to turn into a hot dog.

I figured I could, but I thought it best to ask, so I asked mom if I could have Sandy when she dies. She of course said yes :). When I was eating my lunch, I dipped my raisins in my yogurt and my ranch dressing, mmmmm.

This morning when mom was getting me ready, I said, "Watch and learn." Mom took me to the parade and fiddle festival carnival. I went on all the rides that I could except for the yoyo, I refused to go on that one. While we were eating our lunch, we watched the cloggers and now I think my black dress shoes are tap dancing shoes. We were up at the front and I was standing up dancing and trying to do what they were doing :). Mom stopped by the henna tattoo (temporary tattoos that only last a few days) booth, but I told her not to get one. When she asked me why, I said, "Because you're cute just the way you are."

May 2011

When I got back from spending the week with daddy, I got to go meet Parker. I wanted to take one my toys for him to play with. Even though I wanted him to be a girl, he so cute, I think I can forgive him for being born a boy.

This morning before mom left for work and we were waiting for grammy to come pick me up. I said that I hope grammy brings Parker with her. Later on our out the door to go to the store, it was windy and I said, "It's blustery out here mom." Then when mom was getting me ready for bed, I said the word "stupid". Mom reminded me that we don't use that word and I said, "I think I was just a little carried away."

It was Mother's Day today, we went over to grammy and grandpa's and had a really nice time :).

Mommy put in her two week notice and work today. So now she gets to stay home with me again, I'm so excited!!!!

We had a lot more fun going out for MDFD, the library, the park, celebrating uncle James's birthday, watched movies in mommy's bed (my most favorite place), waling the dogs, and making my favorite chocolate chip cookies. Those are some of my favorite things to do.

Mommy took me to the Apple Blossom Festival today and it was so much fun, we had a blast! I went on all the rides that I was tall enough to go on and didn't get scared at all. I also got to play some of the games with my tokens. When mommy asked me what I wanted to eat, I said that I smelled doughnuts and that's what I wanted. She told me that they didn't have any, but I insisted, so she got me a funnel cake.

When I was in the bathtub, I told mom that I needed privacy and then closed the shower curtain.

When I was talking to daddy, I said to him, "That Terrellee is always up to something".

Today I said, "I have no focus". I don't think that truer words were ever spoken by me, lol. I also said that I had an awesome dream last night about Mini Mouse and kept saying that I had a good dream with Millie in it from one of the shows I watch.

Mommy signed me up for swimming lessons. When she told me that she signed me up, I was very excited and said that I already know how to splash :).

I cleaned up my mess in the basement all by myself. Mommy was so proud of me that she took me to the store and let me get some chocolate covered doughnuts at my request. We went and visited Reeree and while we were there I said that I liked aunt Reeree because she's a girl and girls are more fun. Later on, we went to the park. When we left some older girls said good bye to me and called me by name. They thought I was pretty cute, I talked to them quite a bit while I was there. We ran into grammy and grandpa at the park, they were there playing kick ball for activities days and they let me play too. I came out of mom's room with one of her scarves tied around my neck and a stick and said that I was a magician. Then I started saying magic words like abracadabra and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Mommy took me to my end of school year picnic and had her last day of work! Later on, I said the blessing on the food and before I started said, "Fold your arms and zip your lip."

Mommy took me to see the movie Rio with the Fandango buck I gave her for Mother's Day. It had some really great music in it with a good beat. I kept getting up in the isle and dancing and asking mommy to dance with me. After it was over I stayed through all the credits and danced in the front of the theatre.

April 2011

Mom and I stopped at the grocery store, while we were there, I said, "Cheer up, it will be ok". On our way home, because mom wouldn't let me have my way, I said, "You're fired".

I've been having a pretty fun time doing all kinds of fun things like taking the dogs for a walk, going to the swimming pool, playing at the park, having picnics with mommy, helping uncle Clancy celebrate his birthday, and enjoying MDFD. I got really sick though, when mommy gave me some medicine, I said, "That's horrible!" When mommy took me to the doctor they said I have an ear infection and pneumonia, so I had to get a shot and an x-ray. When the nurse was finished giving me the shot, I said to her, "You hurt me!"

I had a really fun day today. Mommy took me to see Hop and I got to take two of the neighbor girls with me!

Tonight when mommy was putting me to bed, she asked me if I understood what she said to me and I said, "Roger".

I got to go swimming today, and when I was getting ready for bed, I was telling mom about how I picked up the rings in the pool with my feet so that I didn't have to go under the water to get them and get water in my eyes. I had my hand on my hip and a superior tone in my voice and said that I was brilliant. The silly kids, going under the water to retrieve the rings, I like to think that I did it the smart way.

I was watching American Idol with mommy and when a rock singer was singing, I said, "Hit it, let's rock and roll!" Then when we were having dinner, I said to turn on something with a "rocking beat".

We decorated Easter eggs today, it was so much fun, I got to put glitter all over them!

When I saw my Eater basket this morning, I was really excited and wanted mom to come and see. I had an Easter egg hunt at grammy and grandpa's, it was so much fun! Grandpa was recording the hunt and I would pose after putting each egg in my basket. After I was done I loved watching the video of it. Later on, we took some dinner over to Clancy and then went to visit James and Karlie in the hospital. I was so excited that uncle Clancy was going with us to the hospital and insisted on him sitting by me on the way there. When we got there I was very disappointed that Parker hadn't been born yet because I really wanted to see him. When mom was putting me to bed, I said that the best part of my day was the surprise in my Easter Basket, hunting eggs, riding in grandpa's truck, and watched the movie of myself hunting the eggs :).

I went to spend the week with daddy. On the day that I left, baby Parker was born at 7:41 pm. He is 6 pounds 15 ounces, 19 inches long, and the most hansom baby boy in the whole hospital according to uncle James:).
