I, like most mom's, find my daughter to be both unbearably adorable and entertaining. So I decided to start a blog completely dedicated to her quirky personality. This way we can share the love with anyone interested. Being Sadie's mom is the best thing that ever happened to me, so I hope you enjoy The Adventures of Little Miss Sadie Laree as much as I do!

May 2009

While mommy was getting ready for church, I was in the kitchen getting the silver wear out. When she went into the kitchen I said, "Sadie made a mess". Later in the day I was moving my arms like I was swimming and kept saying, "swimming swimming".

For family home evening we made mother's day cards. I got in bed with mommy during the night. When I woke up in the morning, I woke mommy up asking her to give me five :). During the day, mommy asked me if I was stinky, and I said, "No I'm not stinky, poopy." I guess poopy is what she meant by stinky, but if you want a specific answer you need to ask a specific question.

These days I'm always saying, "What are you doing?", and have recently started to say, "I want something to eat". Mommy is very excited that I can now communicate my needs to her and that the guessing game is coming to an end. I also enjoy taking two pencils or something like that and tap them on something while saying, "drumming drumming". I wanted my princess dress on this morning and then wanted a princess movie on, I certain the two absolutely must go together. Mommy told me just a minute and after a minute was up, I said, "princess now mommy". In response, she told me "please" because I forgot to ask properly, so I said "please mommy". I got to go to the park. While I was being pushed on the swings and I kept saying, "this is great, this is awesome!"

This morning when mommy was changing me I said, "super duper".

I fell and scraped my knee and it took mommy a while to convince me that the band aid wasn't the awey, but that it was helping the awey get better. I finally stopped trying to get the bandaid off and left it alone. However, when I came in mommy's bedroom this morning to give her her morning wakeup call, the first thing I did was, sit on the floor, pull up my pant leg, and point to the band aid and say "awey". The next morning I got up and said, "Mommy all done awey." and then ripped off my band aid.

During church, I put my arms around mommy's neck and said, "I love you", over and over. Mommy cooked dinner for her family for Mother's Day dinner. Grandma Connie got mommy slippers for mother's day on my behalf and daddy got her a book on my behalf. It's nice to have people watching my back :).

I had a lot of fun for family home evening; I got to play in my wading pool and watched a movie!

This morning I went and got on mommy's bed, then I shook Milo's paw and said, "Nice to meet you." I have also been saying a lot, "wait me" (wait for me), "right now" (when I want something), "I hold it", "I'm stuck", "amazing", "perfect", "catch me", "there all fixed", "no problem", "help me", "I made it", "come here", "no swiping" (from Dora the explorer, "arriba" (from Dora), "woho" (from Dora), "I love Dora", "hold that me" (hold that for me), and "what doomin" (what are you doing). Wow, that was quit the list, it exhausting talking that much, and not just for mommy, lol. Sometimes in the morning I go into mommy's room and say, "up-sa-daisy" like she tells me after she change my diaper, or I'll tell her "wake up" or to "stand up".

I wanted mommy to put me on the counter in the kitchen and told her "help I'm stuck on the ground. Then she moved away from the counter and I said "help I'm stuck on the counter", so that she would get me down. I took a trip to Idaho Falls with mommy, the day we left, I started to say "stupendous", lol. We went to Yellowstone, it was nice. On our way there after we had been in the car for a while, I said, "Mommy my bummy hurts."

When mommy came down after putting her dress on for church I said, "You look pretty Mommy." She seemed to think that was pretty sweet of me!

We went boating with grandma and grandpa, it was so much fun! I had a good time at the wheel with grandpa. While we were driving down the road I let everyone know, "The boat is back there."

I went to visit daddy in Utah :).

The other day I started saying, "Just kidding." I also like to close my eyes and say, "Where is Sadie." As always, I'm picking up on the games they play with me :).

Just a note: I call grandma Connie, grammy. I call grandpa Bob, baba. I call grandma Jolene, nana. And I call grandpa Cal, papa. So from this point forward that is how they will be referred to

April 2009

This morning I saw that mommy has a bruise, I touched it and said, "owey". She said, "yes owey", so I said, "kiss it" and gave it a kiss to kiss it better. I'm so sweet :).

I got to go to the park today! When we got there, there was a blond girl at the park, and I said, "Hi Jackie". Apparently every blond girl is not my cousin Jackie, who knew. When we got back from that we walked all the dogs, and then played in the backyard with the dogs. It was bound to happen, I've suddenly become obsessed with watching all the movies with princesses in them, and when there not on the screen during the movie, I asks, "Princess coming?" I'm a girl what can I say?

I had a really great time tonight, grandma and grandpa watched me, and grandpa bought me a kite! While we were at the store, after the store clerk got the kit down for me, I made sure I thanked him. After I got done playing with that I played dress up with one of my teddy bears.

I had my blanket wrapped around my neck and kept saying "Super Baby!"

Mommy took her car through the car wash. I was feeling a bit concerned and it must have shown on my face, so mommy told me the car was taking a shower. Then I smiled and on the way out I said, "bye shower", and blew the car was a kiss.

I dropped a cracker, picked it up with my toe (a little something I learned from daddy), thanked my toe, and then gave my foot a kiss. I just wanted to show a little appreciation for all my foot does for me :).

Grandma was watching me, and we were in the back yard. I was chasing a butterfly all around the back yard. Then I picked a really tiny clover, took it to grandma and said, "flower" and smelled it, then handed it to grandma to smell. Then we were picking flowers for mommy's table and I picked one and said, "flower for mommy", then I put it in the flower vase. It was just the flower part and a very short stem, but it was the best I could do, and I did it with all the love in my sweet little heart.

I put on mommy's tiara, and then wanted my princess dress on, after that I wanted mommy to dance with me.

I went and saw Monster's Vs. Aliens, and it was really funny! During one scene I yelled. "No stop" and during another said, "land on".

We went out to grandma and grandpas for Easter dinner. While we were there, I was hopping on the floor like a frog and saying "ribbet".

I got to go to the park for family home evening!

While grandma watching me, I popped a balloon, I went to throw it away, but then said, "grandpa fix it". Lately I have been saying, "there all fixed", "no problem", and "we're here". Mommy told me that she needed a snack and so I went and got her a package of crackers. I got to go to the park again! I love this season. I also get to go on lots of walks :).

Tonight I went bowling with all of mommy's family. I did pretty well if you ask me :).

We took another trip to the park for family home evening. While we were there a girl was playing with me and said that I was delightful, lol. Then we went out for ice cream. When we got home, I played with the neighbor kids.

March 2009

We had a surprise birthday party for grandma Connie tonight and it was a lot of fun!

Mommy turned on a movie for me and there was a preview for the Little Mermaid II, so I kept saying "fishy please" and wanted to watch The Little Mermaid. Mommy tried to pull one over on me and tried to distract me with another movie. I fell asleep and when I woke up, she went to put on another movie, so I said "fishy please". That broke her down and she finally put on the Little Mermaid for me. I love that show, I danced during the song Under the Sea, sang during the song Kiss The Girl, blew the movie a kiss at the end, and then asked to watch it again! But instead mommy put on Finding Nemo, and I kept saying Nemo over and over, and during intense parts I would ask what happened.

This morning I wanted to watch the fishy movie again and when mommy put a show on, I asked if it was Nemo :).

Today I started to say, "bless you" when mommy sneezes. I have also recently started to say, "I need it" and so often do need it. Some other additions to vocabulary are "you're welcome" and "delicious".

I started to say the word, "stupid" today, so now mommy is trying to convince me to say silly instead :o. She says that stupid is a mean word and we don't say stupid. I guess I'll just have to add that to the list of things I've heard but am not a loud to say along with shut up.

After mommy put me to bed, I was crying and when mommy got me out of bed, I threw up all over her. It's been a while since I threw up on her and I thought she might need a reminder of what it was like, as usual I'm always just trying to help in any way I can.

Today mommy told me to come to her so that she could wipe my nose and I told me, "just a sec". Lately I've been patting the seat next to me and saying, "bummy", when I want mommy to sit by me. I learned that from her because when she wants me to sit down she tells me to sit on my bummy. And it's always a real hoot when I say, "yippy skippy". Grandpa came over and brought me a toy T-ball set, and yippy skippy is always appropriate for such occasions.

We went over to grandma and grandpa's and went boating! I had a good time right up until the time I fell asleep.

Mommy and I took a walk to get some bread at the store, we stopped at the park on our way home, another good time where yippy skippy is appropriate :).

This morning I kept throwing my hands up and saying, "Surprise!" Mommy was very entertained.

Those round golden brown circles with the dark brown sticky stuff on them, yum! I am always asking mommy them for me. She calls them pancakes, but I just calls them cake, it gets me what I want.

On my way to see daddy for the weekend, mommy was drawing me pictures on my magna doodle and I asked her to draw me Pooh Bear (Winnie the Pooh), so she did, as best she could at least. Then she asked me what else I wanted her to draw and I got a cute little mischievous look on my face and said, Brown Bear, from one of my favorite books. I also said that I wanted an apple and when she gave me one I said "open, please" because I wanted her to peal it for me.

We made a bathroom stop on our way home from visiting daddy, and while we were in there I was singing Winnie the Pooh's rumbly in my tumbly song, mommy thought it was so cute. Mommy painted my bedroom while I was gone. When we got home mommy was getting me ready for bed and she asked me if I liked my room. So I just told her how I felt about it and said, "I'm going to eat it", it really looks that yummy.

I started singing the Winnie the Pooh theme song today. When mommy gives me a piggy pack ride, she tells me to hold on tight. I thought it was good council, so when I set my Pooh and Pigglet on top of something, I told them to hold on tight. Grandpa asked me if I liked my room that mommy painted for me and to show just how much I really liked it, I kissed the walls.

February 2009

Mommy took me swimming for family home evening! I had soooo much fun, I love the water. I must have been a fish in a former life, lol.

Mommy worked feverishly on my scrapbook today and got them all up to date with the latest and greatest photos of yours truly, complete with any notes the pictures may have needed. I got to spend the weekend with daddy :).

Mommy has finally decided to undertake the horrific task of potty training me. I give it a week before I break her down and she gives up. Have I ever got some unpleasantness in store for her, (insert evil plot laugh here, lol). I started my first day out with a bang that included peeing all over the kitchen floor, all over a chair, on the carpet, in mommy's lap, and once just for kicks in the potty :). Day two was only slightly better. I peed on the floor, pooped in my big girl panties, and peed in my pull up almost just as soon as I got it on. I did throw my mom a bone though and peed in the potty once.

I went with mommy and grandma to visit aunt Laree's gave. It's her three year anniversary in Heaven. I'll never know her in this life, but mommy says I would have really loved her. She would have been the cool aunt that everyone wishes they had. Mommy says that three years hasn't numbed the pain of losing her even just a little bit and doesn't see an end in sight to how much she misses her and wishes she was here.

Potty training went really well today, I went both on the potty, and didn't have any accidents! Don't get to excited though, this is just the calm before the storm. I'm not going to give it up that easy.

Since I did so well yesterday potty training mommy decided to put panties on me this morning, but soon after I peed in them and on mommy's bed. It's like I said, the calm before the storm. Mommy found out today that her cousin Travis and his wife lost their baby. It's such a heart breaking thing to have happen. It's painful physically, mentally and emotionally. Mommy lost her first baby before me and it was very hard for her.

Grandpa stopped by and brought us a flower, some candy, and a balloon for Valentine's Day! I also got a cute mailbox from Grandma Jolene full of valentines from daddy's family!

I slept in mommy's bed about halfway through the night and when I woke up in the morning I got off her bed. Mommy heard a clunk, clunk, clunk, and wondered what was going on. The next thing she knew I was putting the broom on her bed. I just though the broom could use some snuggle time too :).

Another rough day potty training, I pooped on the floor in my room and peed on one of the end tables. On the other hand I was rather funny though, mommy cheered for me when I go on the potty, so when she went to the bathroom I cheered for her too. I'm just trying to give her the same support and encouragement she gives me.

When grandma was watching me, I pulled a green shirt out of my drawer and said, froggy.

I woke up about 6:00 am crying, so mommy put me in bed with her. It was all part of my plan though, as soon as she did that I started asking for a cookie, saying oh man and oh darn :). I had a lot on my mind and I had to get it off my chest.

We went to Boise to watch uncle Clancy fly, but it was too windy. He kited around though I was the best cheerleader there. I kept saying, "Go Clancy, fly!" I also had to go potty, but there wasn't a bathroom. No worries though, there was an empty nut can in grandpa's vehicle that worked just dandy. We are now three days without an accident potty training; I've been wearing panties and everything. Stay tuned though, this is far from over.

I hurt my knee, but I knew what to do, and kissed it better. Mommy had some paint on her hand and I said, "uh oh", and then licked my finger and rubbed it on the paint spot to try and get it off for her, it would come off though. Oh well, you can't say I didn't try.

Mommy met daddy half way and dropped my off with him to spend the weekend :).

January 2009

Daddy took me on a trip to Seattle to visit his grandma Jones, it was a nice trip.

Mommy is really really upset with herself, she washed her Ipod, not once, but twice, so it’s broken :(. She's not quite sure that she'll ever forgive herself or get over it, somehow I think she'll live though.

Mommy finally got to pick up the keys to our new house today, so we can finally start moving in!

Grandma and mommy took me in to get my two year pictures. To say the least, it did not go well. The lady taking the pictures kept insisting on getting a certain shot to the point that I started to cry. So mommy had to make an appointment for a later date. I hope I get someone else to take the pictures next time. I'm just little and I can only do and take so much.

Mommy and I went to our house so that mommy could start to put the things together that she got for out house. I had a really good time while we were there :). As the days went on mommy and I spent a lot of our time at the house while mommy cleaned, put things together, and unpacked. We finally got everything moved in by the end of the month, all the snow that we got made it hard to get everything moved. When we were finally finished, mommy everyone that helped us move out to dinner as a thank you. We were so excited to spend our first night in our house!

I went to my two year check up, I weigh 29 pounds and am 35 inches tall. After that mommy made my birthday cake. Everyone was at grandma and grandpa's to help me celebrate my birthday. I got lots of good stuff, I loved opening my presents. The cake frosting made for a pretty nice facial ;). Two years passed by to quickly and I've changed so much. I'm excited to see what fun things the next year will bring.

Mommy and I flew to Utah so that I can spend the weekend with daddy!

Now that we are in our own place, grandma and grandpa find reasons to stop by quit often. I think they must miss us or something.

We go over to grandma and grandpa's every Wendesday so that mommy can help grandpa with his bookkeeping and we go over there every Sunday for Sunday dinner, yum yum! One morning when we left to go to grandma and grandpa's, mommy told me where we were going and when we pulled out to leave I said, "I'm coming Grandma!" Then I of course proceeded to say goodbye to the trees and clouds and what not :).

I went to Boise with mommy and grandma. Grandma had Il Divo on while I watched Word World. Grandma turned down the music and I said, "Thank you Grandma." It was a little too loud, I could hear my show very well, so it was a welcome change in volume :).

I went back to get my two year pictures. Just about the whole family came this time. After last time I guess mom thought we would need reinforcements. It went much better this time, we had photography success. What I look like at two has now been properly documented.

December 2008

This morning grandpa got me up and took me into his room. He asked me if I wanted to go to grandma and I said, “No.” So grandpa said, “Is grandma scary in the morning.” And I said “Scary.” I think it’s the morning hair, lol.

We had St. Nicholas Day today and I really liked opening my presents. I didn’t know what was going on at first, but once I got the hang of it with help from grandpa, I was excited. I started saying please ready for the next present and thank you when mommy gave it to me. Mommy gave me a bath and I liked the body paint rollers I got for the tub for St. Nick's Day. I had grandpa read me all the books I got and help me with all of the puzzles I got.

Mommy was in the shower, I was in bathroom, and mommy stuck her head out and asked me to turn on the fan. I looked at her like I didn’t understand, so she some more to me. Then I got a look on my face like the light bulb turned on and I said, “OK” and went and flushed the toilet. Hey, it was the best I could figure she could possibly want.

This morning grandma was printing some things off and I went to pull it out of the printer, but grandma told me that it wasn’t finished yet and to wait. When it was done the printer spit it out, I took it and said to the printer, “Thank you!” It works hard and I'm sure likes to be appreciated as much as the rest of us do.

Mommy and grandma took me to the ward Christmas party and took a picture of me with Santa Clause.

I was in my bed in the morning and in my sleep I said with a tone of despair, “Cookie.” When I see a snowman, I’ll point at it and say snowman. I catch on quick, I'm learning all sorts of things about this Christmas holiday. Mommy took me in to get my shots this morning. The bad news is, it hurt not only my arm, but my feelings. The good news is I don't have to have any more shots until I'm four.

Daddy came to Idaho and spent the weekend with me!

Mommy said "I love you" to me and I said it back to her! I have also started to say “Awesome.” Sometimes when I hug mommy, I pat her on the back. There's just something soothing about being patted on the back, I figure everyone would like it was much as I do.

Mommy played tea party with me, what fun! I was pretending to talk on the phone and then said, “Just a sec.” and handed it to mommy. I really like to stack blocks and am rather good at it, I'm also really good at the puzzles I got for Christmas. Grandma and grandpa say that I'm really smart for my age and I'm inclined to agree :).

Mommy drove me down to Utah so that I could see daddy!

Mommy bought me a sled and some snow pants and played with me in the back yard in the snow. It was so much fun!

I put on some socks grandma got and was hopping around the room, they weren't actually bouncy, but I had fun anyway. I had grandpa's belt, put it around me, and ran around the room saying "Giddy up horse". Then I got on mommy's legs with it and said "giddy up horse" to her.

I got lots of great stuff for Christmas and had lots and lots of fun! I especially loved the alphabet fridge magnets I got and wanted to play with them right away and couldn't focus on opening anymore presents. And I called daddy to wish him a merry Christmas.

The other night mommy was helping me go to sleep and I lined up both of my dolls, my sippy, and my bear. Then to each of them one at a time, I said some jibber jabber, called them by name, and said "night night". From what I gather, it's what you do when you put someone to bed.

I've decided to shorten thank you to just thanks, it saves me a bit of hassle, and I'm all about eliminating hassle :). I also recently started to say, "where are you?"

November 2008

I took some magnets from the fridge and was disappointed when they wouldn’t stick to my dresser. Tonight after grandpa got home from work, I had him get the back massager out, then she patted the foot stool and motioned mommy to sit on it, and then patted the chair motioning grandpa to sit in it and give mommy a back massage. I'm just trying to look out for mommy, I know she likes to get her back massaged. She spends so much time taking care of me, someone's got to take care of her and it may as well be me :).

Mommy tried to take me on a bike ride today, I don't know what she was thinking though, I didn’t like it at all, it was way too cold. I had to keep my head tucked down behind mommy to keep the freezing wind from stinging me face.

Mommy tried to clean out my ear today because I was rubbing it and saying owe, I really do not like having my ear cleaned out in the least bit. For heaven sakes it was like they were trying to kill me, or so I acted. I took care of the problem though and hid the stuff that mommy uses to clean them out, but she spotted me coming from somewhere with the pain medicine that was with the cleaner, so she knew I did something with it. Mommy asked me to show her where I got it, in hopes to find the ear cleaner, but I said, “No show you.”

There was a chewed up tissue on the floor in my room, I pointed at it and said Mag Pie. I know which dog does what naughty thing, you can't pull on over on me.

Mommy took me to the doctors to confirm that I have an ear infection and got me some medicine for it. After that we picked up daddy at the air port and he and I got dropped off at their hotel we daddy and I are staying in for the weekend.

I have now started to say "ewe" and in proper context to :). I was watched a dancing show with grandma while sitting on my hippo seat aunt Jenny gave me and said “Shake it, shake it.” I also pointed at my Winnie the Pooh calendar and said "Pooh and Piglet".

Lately I've been holding something up to my eye and saying, “I see you.” I took my baby doll, put it in my fish tunnel, looked through the mesh part, and said, “I see you.” :)

While grandma was watching me today grandma burped and she swears that I said, “Excuse you belch beast.” I watching the home video of myself and then insisted on having my purse like I had in the video.

Mommy and I were brushing our teeth this morning and I was trying to do everything that mommy was doing, so when she spit in the sink I tried to, but it was just a little string of slobber. I'll get the hang of this tooth brushing thing, I'm sure like everything else, it takes practice. At least I get to learn from the master.

I was teasing the dogs with a dog biscuit today and laughing. I would move it all around and watch them follow it with their eyes or try and get it, and then I would laugh even more, or I would walk around with it trailing behind me and enjoyed them following me. Those dogs are so gullible.

I was in the living room with mommy and said, “Grandpa.” Mommy told me that he was in his room and then I said (to him), “I’m coming.” I figured it was only right to give him fair warning.

I had a flashlight and shined it on my doll and said, baby, then did the same for her ball and her car. I was spotlighting them I suppose.

I have started using my own made up sign language for tootsie roll. I touch my thumb and pointer finger together on both hands, put them together, and then twists them back and forth like you do when you are unwrapping a tootsie roll. Mommy figured out what I meant, so when grandpa asked what I meant when I do that she was able to enlighten him.

I was sitting on the couch with my doll, reading to it, and using my dolls hand to point to the elephants while I counted them, but I just kept saying seven and nine. I haven't quite figured out the rest of the numbers yet, but I really like seven and nine.

This morning I was in my crib and grandma was in the kitchen. She sneezed and I said “Bless you.” Then mommy was making me a pancake and asked me if I was ready to eat my pancake, I folded my arms and insisted that we have a blessing. Earlier I was lying on the floor with a book upside down, “reading” it, and following along with her finger.

Mommy and daddy met in Twin Falls today so that he could take me to Utah for Thanksgiving. While I was gone mommy had a birthday. It was a bitter sweet birthday for her, on the one had she's never been happier, but on the other hand it was really difficult for her to officially have out lived her older sister.

October 2008

I've heard everyone else saying it, so I figured I may as well join them and started to call Maggie, Mag Pie.

I helped grandpa get hay for the horses. While mommy was giving me a bath today, I was busy entertaining myself by doing the actions to Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes. I love singing time in nursery at church and love to do the actions to all of the songs. I was playing with mommy's phone and she couldn't find it, so she called it to be able to find it. When she finally found it, it was in the seat of my toy car where I like to stores my treasures :). I have started to try to put my clothes on all by myself, I usually get my shirt on my legs and my pants over my head, I suppose it's a long road to self sufficiency. Grandpa took me on a four wheeler ride and I loved it! So now I want him to take me on it all of the time. I also love to be outside. When I'm hungry I open my mouth and points inside of it, it works, they know what I want, and I don't have to say a word :). Mommy previously noted that I say thank you now and would like to add that I even uses it appropriately.

For my diaper changing entertainment today, I covered my eye and said, “Where Sadie!” I can play peek-a-boo all by myself :).

Mommy couldn't find Molly this morning, when she found her outside, her leg was broken. So mommy took her into the vets and verified that it was broken. They said that at her age it would be very difficult for her to heal from it if at all. Mommy had to do what was best for Molly and had her put to sleep. When grandpa got home from work he dug a hole for her and we buried her next to mommy's dog Penny by the apple tree in the back yard. Mommy said that she was the best dog a girl could ask for and that she was lucky to have her in her life and that she couldn’t have asked for more than Molly gave.

Mommy and I drove up to McCall to paint pumpkins with mommy's cousin Travis and his family. It was my first pumpkin painting experience and I think I did pretty darn good for a first timer.

This morning, I got Molly’s jacket out of the closet and was looking for her, calling her name and patting my leg. Mommy told me that she was sorry but Molly was gone. I said, "All gone" and mommy said, "Yes baby, all gone."

Mommy cut my nails today and when she was done, I took the clippers and acted like I was clipping my baby doll’s nails, I'm just trying to be a good little mommy.

We flew to Utah so I can see daddy. When I saw him, I ran to him with her arms open and my little backpack bouncing along.

I was on mommy's bed in the morning and climbed off. Uncle James's dog PJ had pooped on the floor and so I picked it up and was saying "poo poo" and sounded really upset. I think if you had poop in your hand you would sound a little upset too.

I got dressed up for Halloween like the most adorable lady bug that ever was. Grandma and mommy took me around to show me off and take Halloween treats to some people. At one of the stops some kids came trick or treating and I noticed that they had buckets they were getting candy in, so I grabbed the nearest bucket I could find and wanted candy in it, although my bucket was a regular bucket and the other kids were more of a Halloween themed bucket, oh well it did the job.

September 2008

I finally caught on to cartoons, I tell ya, they are mesmerizing. I've found another use for a screwdriver, it's perfect for leading the music while driving in a car. I sometimes like to assist in leading the music at church too, but not with a screwdriver.

I said my first prayer today, mommy told me what to say and I put forth my best effort to repeat what she said.

I've added "sorry" to my ever growing list of words I use. I find it a very useful word when I've done something that I shouldn't. For example, this morning when my cup fell off the counter and onto Molly’s head, so I said sorry to her.

After my nap mommy let me play in my wading pool until I got to cold, I love playing in the water!

Mommy gave all of the dog’s haircuts today. While she was doing that, I cut my shirt with the scissors and threw dog hair on mommy's head. I guess this was not helpful, or something like that, I thought it was rather helpful though. Oh well, you can't win them all

Grandpa Bob went out of town for work for a few days, I was sitting on the cupboard and asked, "Where’s grandpa?" When they told me he was working out of town that certainly explained why I hadn't seen him around lately.

When mommy put me to bed, she laid down with me. When she thought I was asleep, she started to get up, but I grabbed her by the shirt and pulled her back down. I don't know where she thinks she was going. So then I had my arm around her and was patting her on the back, so that she wouldn't get any ideas about trying to leave again.

Mommy and I flew to Utah so that I could spend some time with daddy.

I was sick last week and having a hard time sleeping, so mommy would lay down with me until I fell asleep. So no when she puts me in my crib I points to the side of the pillow where she usually lays and then I say, “Stay.” with a smile of course. Who could resist that?

August 2008

Uncle Clancy taught me how to do a WWF move, by hitting my elbow to my hand :).

I have recently added "good job" to my rotation of words I use. Mommy's cousin Golden was looking for his pill pack and asked me if I knew where it was. I pointed at the couch and jibber jabbered. Golden looked in between the cushions where I pointed and loan behold there it was.

I have successfully for the first time in my life gone potty in my potty training toilet! I'm not sure what is so exciting about it, but mommy is ecstatic and mentioned something about not having to change diapers anymore once I'm potty trained.

We were watching America's Got Talent. Mommy asked me if I wanted to be on it and I said yes and then started to shake my groove thang. Later she asked me again if I wanted to be on the show and I said yes again. She asked me what my talent was going to be and I started to do the "mark it with a b" part of patty cake.

I not only had new words to the mix, but I also add new sounds and have started to make a monkey sound every time I see a monkey or hear the word said. I did add "thank you" also and have found this most helpful when I'm given something that I wanted. It seems like I say just about a new word every day and repeat almost everything others say to me and copies everything others do.

Daddy and grandma Jolene came to see me for the weekend. Daddy also brought Sandy for mommy to keep until he finds a place of his own.

I'm such a genius. They try and test my smarts and I get them every time. When they ask me where my eye, nose, mouth, ear, or belly button is, I will point to it. They think they can pull one over on me. I will take stuff to whoever you tell me to, I'm like a little errand girl. Grandpa Bob likes to give me a dog treat and then tells me which dog to give it to and I always get it right.

I went to the park and had so much fun!

This morning I knocked on grandma and grandpa's bedroom door and said, "Grandpa?" Grandma told me that grandpa already left for work, what a bummer, I missed him. I was in a store with mommy and I stood up in my stroller after mommy told me not to and it fell over. Mommy picked me up and I had a look like I wasn’t sure if I should cry or not. So mommy told me I was OK and that it just scared me. Then she said, do you see what happens when you don’t listen to mommy and she had me there so I said, "Yeah." After that mommy took me into a store and bought me a purse, sun glasses, and a bracelet. While we were in the store I kept looking at things, pushing the stroller a little farther and looking at more things until I pushed it into a wall and it wouldn’t go anymore. Mommy let me pick out the purse that I wanted. When we got out of the store she put the bracelet on me, gave me the purse to carry, and put my sunglasses on me and I was just strutting around the mall like I was a princess and was I suddenly completely incapable of listening or being obedient in the slightest. Those items must have some kind of magic or something because I felt like a transformed person, like I was really something :).

July 2008

I get tickled a lot, so I thought I would see what it was all about and tickled my dolls foot, it didn't laugh though. So I did what any good mother caring for her baby would do and tried to pick its nose for further entertainment for myself and those observing me, I then tried to boing its lip. And what else could happen to me, but of course, another tooth is in.

We went out to dinner with daddy’s family for aunt Jenny’s birthday and saw fireworks afterwards! I watched the fireworks in awe, with my mouth open and everything and then gave them the round of applause that they rightly deserved. I don't know who invented them but they were great and he deserves an award!

I've seen it over and over again and have finally caught on. I was outside and then I crawled in the dog door, and then I was inside. The dogs finally taught me something useful.

I am continuously expanding my vocabulary and have added "all gone". I have also picked up on mommy blowing on my food to cool it off and have started to help her by blowing on it too.

Something happened and most of mommy's journal for this month is missing in action. I guess the only notable things that happened are as follows. Mommy's family came down and helped me and mommy move to Idaho. We are staying with grandma Connie and grandpa Bob until further notice. Mommy's uncle LaMarr died after a ten year battle with cancer and we attended his funeral. Also, mommy took aunt Reeree's name through the temple on her birthday, now she can progress in heaven. There was lots of family there to help support mommy and her family on such an important day.
