I, like most mom's, find my daughter to be both unbearably adorable and entertaining. So I decided to start a blog completely dedicated to her quirky personality. This way we can share the love with anyone interested. Being Sadie's mom is the best thing that ever happened to me, so I hope you enjoy The Adventures of Little Miss Sadie Laree as much as I do!

September 2008

I finally caught on to cartoons, I tell ya, they are mesmerizing. I've found another use for a screwdriver, it's perfect for leading the music while driving in a car. I sometimes like to assist in leading the music at church too, but not with a screwdriver.

I said my first prayer today, mommy told me what to say and I put forth my best effort to repeat what she said.

I've added "sorry" to my ever growing list of words I use. I find it a very useful word when I've done something that I shouldn't. For example, this morning when my cup fell off the counter and onto Molly’s head, so I said sorry to her.

After my nap mommy let me play in my wading pool until I got to cold, I love playing in the water!

Mommy gave all of the dog’s haircuts today. While she was doing that, I cut my shirt with the scissors and threw dog hair on mommy's head. I guess this was not helpful, or something like that, I thought it was rather helpful though. Oh well, you can't win them all

Grandpa Bob went out of town for work for a few days, I was sitting on the cupboard and asked, "Where’s grandpa?" When they told me he was working out of town that certainly explained why I hadn't seen him around lately.

When mommy put me to bed, she laid down with me. When she thought I was asleep, she started to get up, but I grabbed her by the shirt and pulled her back down. I don't know where she thinks she was going. So then I had my arm around her and was patting her on the back, so that she wouldn't get any ideas about trying to leave again.

Mommy and I flew to Utah so that I could spend some time with daddy.

I was sick last week and having a hard time sleeping, so mommy would lay down with me until I fell asleep. So no when she puts me in my crib I points to the side of the pillow where she usually lays and then I say, “Stay.” with a smile of course. Who could resist that?
