I, like most mom's, find my daughter to be both unbearably adorable and entertaining. So I decided to start a blog completely dedicated to her quirky personality. This way we can share the love with anyone interested. Being Sadie's mom is the best thing that ever happened to me, so I hope you enjoy The Adventures of Little Miss Sadie Laree as much as I do!

March 2011

I'm taking some more phrases for a test drive, today's phrases were, "A little tiny smidgen more", "Perhaps", and "My bad".

It was grammy's birthday today, so mommy cooked everyone dinner. Then we had presents and cake!

After Mommy got off work, we baked cookies and watched a movie together!

When we were pulling in the driveway at grammy's house, I said, "I can't believe my peepers."

I'm always trying to be helpful. Today I tried to help mom pick out what shoes to wear. After she rejected all of my suggestions I finally just said, "Fine, do it yourself then."

Mommy watched baby Fallynn for a little while today, I had so much fun helping with her.

I've come up with a new prayer strategy to help everyone finish their food. O bless that everyone will get candy after they eat and that they will stay in their seats. Sometimes I even go on about the candy and say that grandpa has a lot of it, etc...

On mom's way out the door to work, I told her not to get into any trouble at work so that she wouldn't have to go into time out. Then I told her not to let him (whoever that is) get into any trouble either so he doesn't have to go into time out. lol

Me and mommy spent the whole day together, it was so much fun. We had MDFD and went to the library. I was making myself a bracelet and mommy was talking to me. I just let her know that she was annoying me. Grandma and grandpa laughed so hard they almost lost control.

Mommy took me to the library, to visited Reeree, and then we watched a movie together. It was a really nice day :).

Mommy found a new home for Maggie while I was visiting daddy. I've been telling mommy how much I miss her soft hears. Today, I said that I miss Maggie's soft chunky legs. Then said that I miss Maggie's whole body.

Mommy let me help get the food ready for the baby shower we are having for Karlie. I also got to help decorate! I helped by answering the door and letting people in. When I let the second arrival in, I motioned toward the couch and said, "My mom says to make yourself comfortable." When Karlie opened a gift that was a blanket, I said, "That's to snuggle him up with." When the topic of conversations turned to stretch marks, as will happen at a baby shower, I said, "My mommy has stretch marks" and tried to pull up her shirt to show everyone, lol.

Clancy came home for spring break, on our way home, I said, "The best part of the day was uncle Clancy." Lately I have been saying that everything is my lucky whatever, lucky clip, lucky shoes, lucky purse, etc...

I got to go spend the week with daddy and celebrate his 33rd birthday with him!

February 2011

For no particular reason, I announced to mommy, "This is the worst day ever."

I've hear mommy say it so many times, that I thought I would take it for a test run and see how it works out for me. So I used, "this instant" in a sentence. I at least received a good laugh out of it.

Mommy and I watched a movie together in the evening and I got to pick it out!

We went to Bailey Leonard's baby blessing today, babies are so sweet. I keep asking mommy when she's going to have another little baby. She explained to me that she would have to be married to have a little baby. So I asked Karlie why her and uncle James aren't married, they are having a little baby after all. Apparently she gets that question from adults a lot, but not from kids

For fhe mommy made me cookies! Chocolate chip cookies are my favorite!

While I was watching a show, I said, "I can't bear to watch." Later in the day mommy took me into have my last round of shots until I'm 12. When I got the shots I cried and demanded that I never ever go there again and refused to allow mommy to mention my shots while in my presents.

While saying my prayers, I went on and on about my toys being quiet and not able to speak. The other day I said in my prayers that I was grateful for chocolate milk.

Aunt Reeree has been gone for five years now. Mommy me to the store and I picked out some yellow flowers for her. We met grammy for MDFD. Then we took Laree flowers together. Mommy wonders if this will ever get easier.

When we were at the vets getting Maggie's shots, I talked to everyone that would listen about our dogs and that we used to have four, but now we have three. I kept telling the vet about my shots, asking about Maggie's shots. I had to be absolutely certain, so I kept asking for reassurance that the vet was not going to give me any shots. As I mention before, I never ever want shots again. Mom said that they only give animals shots at the vets, but I had to be sure.

All of us went to "Gnomeo and Juliet". Before the movie started, Mommy was getting after me for running around. I stuck her finger in her face and said, "Take your business away." So in other words, mind your own business, lol. It was rather naughty of my, but mommy was so caught off guard by it, that all she could do was laugh.

Before mommy left for work today, I asked mom if she had a date tonight. After she answered me, my follow up question for clarification was if it was a hot date. I made sure that I asked her the next day how her date was last night :).

When mom was putting me to bed, I wanted to sleep in her bed. She said no because it gives her a miserable night's sleep. So, I told her that I was sorry for frustrating her and then told her that I love her with all her heart.

When mommy asked me what I wanted for breakfast, and I said that I wasn't hungry. She said, "You don't want anything for breakfast". So to make myself absolutely clear, I repeatedly said, "Absolutely not" and put emphasis on different parts of the words each time I said it.

Grammy took me to the doctor today and I have a double ear infection. When we went to get my prescription, I went up to the pharmacy counter and said, "I need medicine." Then when grammy took me to meet daddy, her car wouldn't start. While we were waiting, I opened the door and said, "Somebody help my grammy get her car started." We got it going and met up with daddy, I got to spend the week with him!
