I, like most mom's, find my daughter to be both unbearably adorable and entertaining. So I decided to start a blog completely dedicated to her quirky personality. This way we can share the love with anyone interested. Being Sadie's mom is the best thing that ever happened to me, so I hope you enjoy The Adventures of Little Miss Sadie Laree as much as I do!

January 2011

I got to see the lights at the Botanical Garden in Boise! I was yodeling when we were at the top of the hill. When we got down to one of the fires they had a lady said to me, "You must be the one I heard yodeling."

After church we made brownies and I told mommy that she was doing and "exquisite" job!

When grammy got my lunch out today and told me that mom packed me a peanut butter and jam sandwich, I said that I wanted to make it because I am good at it. Then after a few minutes I asked for help and had to admit that I wasn't so good at it.

After church daddy got the web cam working and I got to talk to him on it!

We got to make chocolate chip cookies for fhe :)! Chocolate chip cookies are my favorite!

The other day I was telling mom all about how Jesus healed my hand that I cut when I fell on the ice :).

It's my birthday!!!! Four years old, mommy can't believe it. I got to help decorated my cake. When I was helping mom make my cake I said that it wasn't fantabulous now but it would be tonight and kept talking about having birthday company. Then I got a bath, had my four year check up at the doctors, and had my four year pictures done! When we were at the doctor's office I was so funny talking to everyone and telling them all about my birthday plans. The doctor commented that I was very talkative. I am in the 95% for height and weight, and everything looked good. I also said that grandpa is a genius about stuff. On our way home, we stopped at grandma Kofoed's to pick up the gift she had for me and she gave me an ice cream bar! Everyone came over for pizza, cake, ice cream, and presents. Every present I opened, I would say that it was what I always wanted. I had so much fun today, it was a great birthday :).

I heard mommy say that she would never date someone with a mustache because she couldn't take anyone under the age of 50 with a mustache seriously. So I said to grammy that I didn't know who grandpa could date because he has a mustache, lol. Mommy told me that he didn't need to date anyone because he is married to grammy.

When mommy was leaving for work this morning I followed her out the door and told her not marry anyone while she was at work, or kiss anyone, and made sure she had snacks incase she got hungry, etc...She told me not to worry about her, that she could take care of herself :). I left today to spend the week with daddy today!

This morning I got in bed with mom. She asked me if I wanted some mandarin oranges with my breakfast and I said, "That would be messy in bed." Silly mommy, I don't know what she was thinking, lol.

While I was eating my breakfast, I asked mom who drank all of my milk. She told me that it was me, but I insisted that it was the dogs. She told me that it wasn't possible that it was anyone else because I had been sitting in front of it the whole time, that she didn't drink it, and that it couldn't possibly be the dogs because they can't drink out of a straw, lol. I'm not convinced with her reasoning as sound as it may be, I still insist that it was the dogs. She finally had to tell me that she was done discussing it. Later I was playing in the back yard and came in all upset because I had stepped in dog poop, lol. Mom gave me a bath and while she was washing me, I said, "What's the deal with ear wax?" I also told her, "Don't get sassy about me."

I called grandpa this morning and while I was talking to him said, "Sorry to disturb you at work". Later we went to grammy's and were watching American Idol. When I saw Steven Tyler, I asked, "Why is that not a girl?" Then later said that they should take his wig off, lol.

Mommy was talking to uncle Clancy and while she was on the phone I was making a bunch of noise. When she tried to get me to be quiet, I said, "But I want to rock and roll."
