I, like most mom's, find my daughter to be both unbearably adorable and entertaining. So I decided to start a blog completely dedicated to her quirky personality. This way we can share the love with anyone interested. Being Sadie's mom is the best thing that ever happened to me, so I hope you enjoy The Adventures of Little Miss Sadie Laree as much as I do!

October 2011

This morning I told mommy, "This is how I roll."

While we were at grammy and grandpa's I said, "So, you two liked each other, so you got married?"  They said, yes, so then I said that I was glad they got married.

I got out the learning book that mom made me when I was a baby and said that I was doing my homework.  I like doing homework, but mommy's says that I won't always.

I've been asking for grammy to take me to preschool all school year and today she did!  When I got home, we painted pumpkins.  Mine is a princess :).

When mom and I were getting into the car, I said, "I love your mom and dad."  Mommy told me that she does too.

Mom was watching a music clip online and I was watching it with her and said about one of the men singing, "he's handsome".

Today we got to play at the park with mommy's cousin Travis and his family, it was so much fun!

After my practice today for the primary program tomorrow, grammy stopped by and went to the park with us to have a picnic!

It was the primary program in sacrament meeting in church today.  I said my part perfectly and did better than all the other kids in my class according to mommy.  When I finished my part, mommy said to grammy, "That's my girl".

I've suddenly become very concerned about healthy eating.  Out of the blue I started talking a lot about diet, exercise, and belly fat.  Before I eat anything, I always ask mom if it's healthy and wants to exercise with her.

I got to go trick or treating with daddy this year.  I got to trick or treat at his work and with my cousins.  It was so much fun and I got so much candy that I probably won't be able to eat it by next Halloween.

September 2011

While I was at grammy's today, I wrote a note to Park that said, "Dear, dear Parker, I'll love you for a lifetime and I like your soft head."

I today I had my first day of Preschool this year. I love preschool so much!  I really missed my classmates and my teacher :).  I caught mommy saying the word butt, and told her that we don't say that word, we say bottom.  Then I told her that it was ok, just not to say it again and told her that it was inappropriate. Hmm...where have I heard that before?

Mommy took me for a bike ride and it was a lot of fun.  She even managed not to crash this time like she did last summer.

I got in bed with mom this morning and said that I loved her and was lucky to have her as my mom.  Later I was singing a song that went, "...Sadie's going to sit on mommy's lap, Sadie loves her mama and she loves me back..."

I earned some money at grammy and grandpa's helping grandpa wash windows.  After preschool, I got to go the store and buy something with my money.

I went to my first ballet class!  It was so much fun, I've been wanting to ballet for a long time!

I helped mommy picked our grapes and make some grape juice.  When I tasted the grape juice, I said, "I think it tastes fantastic".

I got in mom's bed and in reference to my stuffed puppy said, "I like it, I think it's adorable". Then while we were at grammy's, I said I was going to do a magic trick for them and said, "I'm a little nervous."

When mom asked me to drink my milk, I said, " Right away mommy".

While I was at my grandparents, I was in uncle James's room and he was putting things away in his closet.  I was pulling out outfits of Karlie's and asking him if he liked her in them.  He answered yes to all of the outfits I pulled out.  I then asked him if he liked Karlie in all of her outfits, to which he said yes.  So then I said, "Then why don't you marry her."

On our way to grammy's, mommy and I were having a discussion about me needing to eat the crust on my sandwich and I said, "I don't want to hear another word about it."

Mommy took me to the library, and to watch the homecoming parade.  Then we met grandpa for MDFF since it's his birthday :).

After church, mom found a mouse in the trap that was still alive.  So mommy had to do the dirty task of finishing it off.  Mommy's never had to do that before and found it very disturbing.  I wanted to watch.  Mommy's says that she'll never be the same again.  I kept telling everyone about it all day.  When mom was putting me to bed, I sang a song to her that I was making up about her killing the mouse.  It even rhymed. When I was getting ready for bed, I got after Milo for bringing an apple in the house and told him that it was not acceptable.
