I, like most mom's, find my daughter to be both unbearably adorable and entertaining. So I decided to start a blog completely dedicated to her quirky personality. This way we can share the love with anyone interested. Being Sadie's mom is the best thing that ever happened to me, so I hope you enjoy The Adventures of Little Miss Sadie Laree as much as I do!

July 2011

After a fun filled week with daddy, mommy picked me up and took me out to see the 4th of July fireworks with grandpa, grammy, and uncle Clancy. I saw a lot of people with their shirts off at the park and asked mommy why there were so many naked people.

Mommy didn't know it until I got into preschool last year and had to get up for school, but I am not a morning person. When I got up this morning, I said, "I don't feel like doing anything today." Then when mom asked me if I was eating my breakfast, I said, "I just need to chill for a little while."

I was watching "So You Think You Can Dance" and asked mom if a dancer that has the side of her head shaved was a girl. When she told me that it was a girl, I said, "I hate her hair" and went on to say that she looked stupid and that I don't like her. I also said to mom today, "You're so sweet to me mom."

Mommy watched her cousin Travis's daughter Fallynne. I was very helpful and had a lot of fun playing with her. Mommy asked me what my favorite part of it was and I told her that it was when Fallynne pooped in her diaper. Later in the day everyone came over and we had a birthday party for aunt Reeree. After that we went to the cemetery and released balloons.

I was talking about the song on "Pinocchio", When You Wish Upon A Star, and asked mom if dreams can come true. Then I watched the movie and asked mom if she knew how to find a wishing star. I said that I was going to wish for real chipmunks and a real puppy. I later said that I was just kidding about the puppy and that I didn't want one until I was older.

Last night when I woke up in the middle of the night mom took me out to wish on a star. The next morning, I asked her why my wish didn't come true. She told me that sometimes they don't happen right away, so thru out the day I repeated what she told me to any strangers that would listen.

When we were at grammy's, I called uncle James's dog Rider a "big ga-loot". Grandpa got me some roller skates and I really like them!

I had a fun day with mommy, we to the library, had MDFD, and went to the park. Later we made chocolate chip cookies! My favorite!

When mom got out of bed this morning, I gave mom a hug and said, "Give me a happy face." Later in the day, we got to go to the park and then we ate out!

What a great day! Mommy took me to the Roaring Springs water park today and I had a really good time, it was a lot of fun! On our way home we even got ice cream!

This morning when mom was trying to hurry me to eat my breakfast I told her that she was being a grumpy grouch, lol. Then I went to spend the week with daddy!

When I'm over at grammy's, I've been helping them let Ryder outside. I tweet like a bird and open the front door for him to go out. That silly dog thinks I'm a bird and follows me right out the door, I'm so tricky ;). I've also been saying when I need to go to the bathroom, but it's not an emergency, that my pee is patient. I was telling mom some kind of story and said, "...boom and then we're there." I asked her the other day if she even knows what patience is. A while ago, I said to mom, "Sorry mom, rules are rules."
