I, like most mom's, find my daughter to be both unbearably adorable and entertaining. So I decided to start a blog completely dedicated to her quirky personality. This way we can share the love with anyone interested. Being Sadie's mom is the best thing that ever happened to me, so I hope you enjoy The Adventures of Little Miss Sadie Laree as much as I do!

February 2012

While I was at grammy's, Karlie said to me, "Just think if you had a little brother". I said, "Yeah, it would be a lot of trouble."

I had a fun day with mommy, we watched movies, made cookies, and went to ballet!

While we were in mom's room, I looked at the ceramic things mom had in there and noticed one that Clancy made when he was little. I said how pretty it was and that he was very good at design.

It's been six years since aunt Reeree went to Heaven. When mom told me what day today was I said that I wanted to make Laree something. Mommy let me pick out the flowers for her. When we got to the cemetery, I said hi to her and hugged her headstone. Then I asked mom if she was going to say hi. After that we went to the library and I was so proud of myself for checking out my library books all by myself.  From there we went out for MDFF. While we were gone, grammy stopped by and brought us a flower, balloon, and treat for Valentine's Day! Aunt Fionuala and uncle Chris were so sweet to send flowers to grammy and grandpa and a very thoughtful email to mommy.

Mommy thought that it was so sweet of me to get her toothbrush ready for her when I was getting ready for bed. I figured that it was a fair exchange since she gets mine ready for me.

While mommy was taking a nap today, I got another blanket and put it over her. Then I patted her on the head, kissed her on the cheek, and started reading her a story. I must practice these things for someday when I have kids of my own, lol.

It's Valentine's Day today and I got to talk to day.  I also got card in the mail from grammy! That was very thoughtful of her.

When we were leaving a gas station today when mommy picked me up from my fun week with daddy, she asked me, "Shall we go?" I said, "Yes, I suppose we shall." Mommy is very amused by my vocabulary.

Today I drew a picture for Molly and then put it outside so that she could get it in Heaven.

Mom asked me if I liked the picture frame that she made for one of her paintings.  I said that it was ugly and that it smelled ugly too, lol. Mom is not sure what exactly ugly smells like. I'll let you decide for yourself if my judgment of the frame is correct or not. Is this the frame of the look and smell of ugly?
