I, like most mom's, find my daughter to be both unbearably adorable and entertaining. So I decided to start a blog completely dedicated to her quirky personality. This way we can share the love with anyone interested. Being Sadie's mom is the best thing that ever happened to me, so I hope you enjoy The Adventures of Little Miss Sadie Laree as much as I do!

October 2010

When mommy came to check on me before she went to bed tonight, I was asleep under my bed. Sometimes you just need a change of scenery to fall asleep.

While we were watching conference today, I said, "I like watching conference, but conference is silly." Later mom and I were playing the piano together. She played me a couple of songs and asked me if I recognized them and I said that I did. Then I started playing a song and asked mom if she recognized it. She didn't, so I told her that it was an angel song for aunt Reeree.

I had my first show and tell at preschool today and showed everyone my white teddy bear that I got from Nana for my very first Valentine's Day. I really like show and tell :). Mommy and I painted pumpkins for fhe! I made mine pink, and it's so beautiful.

Grammy took me to help uncle James clean the place he's moving out of. While we were there James was saying something about no one liking him. I said, "Uncle James I like you" and then gave him a big hug. After that he said that he felt better.

This morning, I yawned, told mom that I yawned, and then said it means that my belly is tired. Mom and I watched the new Karate Kid movie. It made me get out my swords I got for my birthday and want to sword fight :).

When I was with grammy today, I said that my marble was a grape and then it turned into a marble and that it was a magic grape.

We went to steak conference today and every time I heard someone say conference, I would say, "He/She said conference." Mommy cooked dinner for grammy and grandpa after church and I got to helped mom :). While we were making stuff, I said, "It's a beautiful day for cooking."

On my way to Utah to see daddy, I vomited my chicken nuggets all over mom in the car. I said that vomit boggies didn't taste good and apologized for getting vomit boggies on her and for vomiting on her. Auhh, there's nothing like being vomited on, or so mommy says.

I told mom that I hate carrots, but I don't hate green beans.

On our way to great grandma's big 90th birthday celebration, I thanked the clouds for keeping the sun out of my eyes :).

They had the primary program at church and when one of the kids said, "In the name of Jesus Christ..." for their part, I thought I would finish the sentence and said, "Amen" and everyone around us laughed. After church we made cupcakes. While we were making cupcakes mom was pouring something into a measuring spoon and I said, "Steady." Then when I was saying my prayers, I said, "And bless daddy to be safe at the airport." Because when I talked to him, he said he was at the airport picking up aunt Jenny.

Mommy introduced me to the movie Annie. When Ms. Hannigan is singing the song about little girls "Step on their freckles", I laughed and said that was silly. When it was over I wanted to watch it again.

When mommy was leaving my room after she put me to bed, I said, "But I'll be all alone." SHe told me that I had my teddy, doggy, and hippo to keep an eye on me. I said, "But they're not real, teddy is just made up fluff." :)

Sometimes when mom asks me what I want to eat, how I want my hair fixed, etc..., I'll say, surprise me.

Grammy too me to visited mom at work today :)!

Mommy let me watch fun Halloween movies today. Then grammy came over and they took me trick-or-treating. I had so much fun that I wanted to keep going. When mommy told me that we were going to stop by Oscar and Betty's, I said, "Oscar and Betty! They're awesome!" lol

We picked the rest of the pumpkins out of the garden and carved them. What fun!

September 2010

I had my first day of preschool! When grammy introduced me to the teacher, I said, "I'm Sadie Jones the big girl."

I was trying to keep Milo in line and said to him, "Remember what I told you Milo, no licking." Then I kept telling mom to join me in whatever I happened to be doing. For some reason now I call grandpa, Bob.

We went to MDFD, since mommy is working now instead of on Friday's we go any day we can. So now it's just Mother Daughter Fuan's Day, aka MDFD. After that mommy took me on a "vacation" to the "beach" and took me to Mann's Creek for a couple of hours and had a picnic. We were throwing rocks in the water and mom's went farther than mine, so grammy told her that she won the prize. Later I found a bottle cap in the sand, gave it to mom, and told her it was her gold medal for her prize.

That mom of mine is so smart, so I've been telling her for the last few days that she is a genius.

Mommy took me to the movies today! We saw The Sorcerer's Apprentice and it was so much fun. I've been sticking my tongue out and today when mommy got after me for it, I thought fast and told her that I was just stretching it. I thought it was a pretty good excuse. Coming up with that kind of stuff now, mommy can't wait to see what kind of stuff I come up with when I'm a teenager.

I took Sandy over to grammy's today, and on our way home I told her, "Come back here where it's safe, so you don't get mom in trouble" which is what mom tells me when I want to sit in the front and don't want my seatbelt on.

I was out helping mommy with her visiting teaching today. On our way from one appointment to the next, mom had to go to the bathroom really bad. So I just told her to be brave.

On our way home from grammy's today, I had some granola bar crumbs in my hand and called them granola bar seeds. I've been using the word energy a lot lately in refereeing to eating or something I'm going to do.

Grammy and I stopped by and visited mommy at work for a few minutes. This morning before mommy left for work, as her fashion consultant, I told her that she looked weird, lol. I felt it only fair to tell it like it is.

I got a cold, as usual since I started school, I had a really big sneeze and when grammy commented on in, I said, "the boogies are having a party in my nose", lol.

I had a fun day with mommy today. We went to the movies and got ice cream afterwards!

After church we were getting ready to go to grammy's. I asked mom to take my bun out. She told me to wait a minute because she was changing her close. Then I told her to do it right now or I was going to spank her bum. Mom seemed to think I was being sassy. Later I talked to daddy. I was spinning around in the computer chair and asked daddy if he was getting dizzy. I don't understand the concept of how the cell phone works and that the person I'm talking to isn't in the phone and can't see me. I'll catch on one of these days though.

When I was with grammy today, she was having a meeting for one of her church callings. Grammy and the other lady were trying to decide who would do a certain thing and I, being helpful as usual, raised my and hand and said, "Pick me, pick me!"

Mommy took me to a Halloween store today. Halfway through, after seeing some of the decorations, I said I wanted to leave this creepy store right now. Every time mom would go to look at something else, I would tell her to stop it because I wanted to leave. When we were driving away, I told mom that I forgive her for taking me to the creepy store. I'm so kind hearted :). Later in the day we all met for dinner for grandpa's 53rd birthday. During dinner, uncle James announced that him and Karlie are having a baby in May! I'm so excited to have an Idaho cousin!

During church I announced to mom, "I crack myself up." Then when we were at grammy's for dinner, I was pretending that the straw was a magic wand. Mom told me to make my food disappear into my tummy. So I said, "Magic a pooh" and put my napkin over my plate. I'm so tricky!

When mommy picked me up from grammy's, she asked me what I wanted to do for fhe. I told her that I wanted to have graham crackers and milk. We ended up having a picnic at the park for fhe instead though. Oh well, better luck next time I guess.

I've been saying, "Oh shucks" a lot lately. Mommy and grammy think it's so funny.

When grammy was getting gas today, a guy walked by and I said, "Hey dude what's your name?" He reminded me of someone I know, and I just wanted to check and see if it was him :). On our way in the house today after mommy got off work, I told her that I wished I didn't have to go to work.

August 2010

I learn so much these days, and I feel that it's only right to share what I've learned with those around me, So I've been informing mommy of every oncoming stop sign and letting her know that she need to stop :).

Grandpa or Bob as I'm calling him now a day, got me an electric toothbrush! Now all I want to do all day is brush my teeth, but mommy says I can only brush them in the morning and before bed. I requested to watch a movie for fhe, so we did. Mommy and I were playing today and when we were goofing around, I said, "Hey that was rude!" lol

Mommy and I had a fun day. We watched some shows, took a walk, and read books together.

On our way out the door today, mommy was trying to get Sandy out of the garage so that we could leave and I said, "Hey, I'm in charge of Sandy, remember?" Hmmm...where has she heard that before...oh yeah, from mommy.

Just another day in Sadie's paradise with mommy. We made cookies together, watched a movie, and played together for a while. Mommy says that I'm just living the charmed life. I don't know what that means, but it sounds nice, so I'll have to agree wither her there. When we were in the car, mom put on some chapstick, and I told her she could put more makeup on later. Then I kind of rambled for a while about her makeup and ended the ramble with, "Is that and excellent plan?"

Mommy took me to the movies today and saw Despicable Me. It was all kinds of fun!

I spent the day with grammy today. She took Sadie to Laree's grave today. When we got there, I hugged her headstone and said, "I love her." Then I went and picked some dandelions in the seed stage, put them on her grave and said, "She'll have fun blowing those."

I had a sleep over with grammy and when she woke me up, I said, "12 more minutes, then I'll wake up, like mommy." lol

We got to go to the library today! Then took the dogs for a walk and I got to play with the neighbor kids.

Mommy started her new job today. Grammy will be taking care of me while she's at work, which is good with me because grammy lets me "do whatever I want whenever I want". When we got home we made cookies! I love cookies!

Mommy had to leave earlier for work this morning. When she went into my room to get clothes for me to wear for the day, I started crying and asked her why she was dressed. She told me that she had to go to work. Then I asked if the dogs could stay with me. Grandpa is such a good grandpa, he came over and mowed our lawn for us. Mommy had no idea how she was going to have time to do it and now she doesn't have to worry about it :). When I was with grammy today we went and visited someone that had surgery. I found a little bow in grammy's sewing kit and called it a flower. Then I wanted to take to Kathleen and said that it would make her knee feel better.

I told mom this morning, "My belly is starving" and asked her to get me food and to hurry. Later I brought mom over my alphabet flash card with a mouse on it and was so excited about it that I gave her a hug and said, "I'm so welcome!"

I told mommy that I wanted a puppy. She's a smart one. So she told me that if I wanted a puppy that I was going to have to give all the dogs a bath, cut their nails, clean their teeth, feed them, and scoop their poop for a whole year. I said, "Awe, I'm gonna have to grow up."

On our way home mom told me that she needed to go potty and I apologized that there were no potties on the road. I then told her to hold my whammy fammy. lol

During church today, I was dancing and making a sound. Mom told me that I needed to sit down and be reverent. I told her, "But I was just doing the spit dance." After church we went to grammy and grandpa's. While we were there I said that mom was old and that I didn't want her to go to heaven because I wanted her to stay there with me :). Later on I was talking to daddy and wanted to show him something. Then I said that I had to stay where there were bars (on the cell phone), and couldn't show him. lol I still haven't figured out that even thought I can hear the person on the other end of the phone and they can hear me, they can't see me.

When mommy got home from work today, she took me to the park for fhe, and we had a picnic.

July 2010

Note: These are pictures of me eating my vegetables ;).

I went visiting teaching with mommy and she thought it was funny that I asked if I could ask her partner Victoria a question.

We woke up brigth and early this morning and helped clean the church, I had so much fun helping mommy clean the glass!

It's the 4th of July! Grandpa took us all to the park in Boise and we watched the fireworks! It was so much fun. Mommy thinks that we were a little bit too close to the display because she got some firework particles in her eye, lol.

I was teasing Maggie by putting a doll blanket on her head. When mom told me not to do that to Maggie, I said, "But she'll look stylish."

Today, told mommy that I wanted to go to school and said I wanted to go because "I'm smart and sweet because I'm Sadie Jones the big girl".

On our way to the car, mommy was trying to get Milo out of the garage and I started to yell at him. She told me not to do that because She was in charge. I started to cry and said that I wanted to be in charge. She told me that I could be in charge of my lamby (my stuffed animal). Then I was talking on the phone to grandpa and informed him that mom was in charge of screaming and the dogs and I was in charge of my lamby. Later on in the day, I took my very first camping trip! I had a good time riding in the boat, roasting marshmallows and sleeping under the stars.

I was inspired by watching Aladdin , so I've been telling mom that I trust her. However, I don't trust my water bottle shaped like a lamb, lol. I also told mom today, "…but that's not fair." She did not think she would be hearing me say that until I'm at least 12, lol. I didn't think it was fair that I should sleep in my bed. Mommy keeps telling me that life is fair, but I strongly disagree and believe very adamantly that it is fair.

It's aunt Reeree's 32nd birthday today. We had her favorite foods for dinner. Aunt Treva and grandma Kofoed came out for it. After that we went out to Laree's grave and released some birthday balloons. When we got home mommy and I watched the slide show of Laree mommy made for the funeral.

Mommy's friend Maria had a baby yesterday, so we went to visit them. While we were there, I got to hold her and asked if I could give Reesa a kiss. Babies are so sweet.

I'm so excited! I turned around on my bike all by myself today!

I've started a new thing, when I'm watching a movie and have a question, I'll ask the question and then demand, "Tell me the truth about…"

I got to spend the weekend with daddy! On our way home, mom showed me the miniature lotion set she won playing bingo at grandpa's family reunion. When I saw them, I said, "I've wanted this my whole life from bingo." Then later I was laying on the floor, held up my hand, and said, "A little help here".

The other day I announced to mommy, "I'm having too much fun!" I'm not so sure there is a thing as too much fun, but I'm sure going to make my best effort to find out.

Mommy hurt her back, so I said that she needed to go to the doctor to get the right medicine to help her feel better just like me.

Mommy thought my prayer tonight was very amusing, I don't see why it's so funny, you be the judge. All I said was, "Thank you for Maggie to not be fat." Lol.

I like to help out when I can, so I brought all of my change to mom and said that I wanted her to have all of my money for shopping. Mommy thought it was so sweet.

June 2010

As you well know, I'm always trying to mix things up and keep things interesting for my audience, aka my family. So, when I say good bye, I say good bye, blow kisses, and then hug myself :).

We had another MDFF. When mom was eating her ice cream, I asked if I could have one skittle (mom always gets the skittles ice cream and I always get velvet mints). She gave me one and after I put it in my mouth, I said it needed it's buddy, so she gave me another one. Grandpa always tells me when he is trying to get me to eat, that the bite of food misses it's buddies that I already ate so that I will eat more. It works for me, so I thought I'd try and use that scheme to my advantage and tried it out on mommy. It worked like a charm, she couldn't resist giving me another Skittle.

I was playing with my stuffed monkey and put it to bed in the crib. Then a few minutes later I went back in the room, turned on the light, and said "Rise and shine".

It rained all day today and when we were getting in the car, I licked the rain off the door, lol. It seemed like a good and rather tasty idea, but mom told me that I shouldn't do that.

Daddy came and spent the weekend with me, we had fun, as we always do :).

When I was at Grandma's, grandpa told me to tell Clancy's friend "Goose-fra-ba", so I did. When he asked what that meant, I said, "Hakuna Matata." Then later on, when mom said it was time to go, grandpa was making a big deal about it in a fun way, not wanting me to go and I said, "You're not understanding me, I have to go."

Mom was very amused today when I said, "Holy smokes." Then mom tripped going up the stairs and I told her, "You have to be more careful mom." We got to take all of the dogs for a walk, that's always fun for me, not always so much for mom though. When we were walking Maggie, I rode my bike alongside mom, but every time I got to a part of the side walk that wasn't very good, I got off and pushed my bike past it. When we got back from that we played outside most of the day and had a lot of fun with my bubbles. Then mom made cookies for me.

On our way home from church, I kept saying, "Are we there yet?"

Mommy was with uncle Clancy looking for a paragliding site, but were having a hard time finding it. I couldn't understand this because, after all, "…they have the PPS" (which is what I calls the GPS :).

Grandma took someone in to get surgery and when I asked where the lady was going and they told her she was getting surgery, I said, "Oh, is she getting tickled" lol. Because when I get hurt, grandpa asks me if I need surgery. Then he lays me out on the "operation table", has me put my arms up and then tickles me. Later I was asking grandma a bunch of questions that she didn't know the answer to. Grandpa told me that I was going to have to help grandma out. I said, "Ok here's your options" just like mommy tells me sometimes :).

I got to go to the circus today and I had a blast! There was a flexible gymnast in it and when I saw what she was doing I decided to try and do it to and had grandpa scoot over to give me some room. Then when I would do something I saw the gymnast do I would bow afterwards. I also got to ride on the elephant!

Mommy went to pick me up from grandma, and I was in the bath tub when she got there. She asked me for a hug, but I said I was all wet. She told me that she didn't care and so I gave her one and then asked if she brought me a present.

When we were leaving for church this morning, I wanted to take my stuffed kitty with me. Mom asked me if I wanted the other kids to play with it, and when I said no, she suggested that I leave it at home. But I came up with an idea and said that Bob (as I call grandpa sometimes) would protect it, and decided to take it.

We went to the library and the park today! Mom was amused by me when I said, "What a bummer." Mom painted her toenails and I tried to convince me to convince her to paint her fingernails too and said that it would look fabulous.

I woke up in the morning crying and saying that I wanted chocolate squares which is what I call the velvet mints from Fawn's. I'm definitely female, lol.

I got a bath this morning and while I was in the tub, Mom went to put her robe on. I asked her what she was doing and she said, "I'm getting my robe on". I said, "I'm not a robot." And she said, "Not robot, my robe on". So asked, "You're robot robe?" lol.

We met daddy in Twin Falls today, I get to spend the whole week with daddy!

I was so happy to see mom when I got back from visiting daddy. Mom says I was extra huggie. I picked up a new word while I was gone and am now using actually. Mommy is very impressed that I even use it properly. When I was in the tub, I was calling for mom. When she came in to see what I needed, I said, "Actually I'm ready to get out." When mom was getting me dressed, she told me that if I was a good girl I could pick out a treat at the store. Ishe said "Actually I am a big girl" and she said, "Not a big girl, a good girl". And for some reason I also said, at random, something about sassy pants, lol. I have another bladder infection and had to go to the doctor :(.

May 2010

What a fun day! We went to Boise today and went to the Discovery Center. After that we went to the park and fed the ducks, geese, and goslings. Then we did a little shopping and grandpa got me some new toys. While we were driving through the parking lot, there were two red vehicles in a row in front of us and I said that they were "run amuck".

Mommy was really really sick today, so grammy came and picked me up. I spent the day at her house while mommy stayed in bed all day. Mommy thinks I was awfully sweet though, when she told me she was sick, I said that I needed to call the doctor and tell the doctor that her tummy doesn't feel good. Then I told mom to come into the kitchen with me and get a treat to help her feel better (mommy always tells me that the medicine is a treat). Then when I was laying in bed with her while I watched a movie waiting for grammy, I put my blankie over her. So sweet.

When grammy was leaving our house, I said, "But I forgot to give her hugs and kisses."

I've been big on not wanting kissed, but the other night when mom put me to bed and was leaving my room I wanted her to give me a kiss on the head. She kissed my forehead, but I wiped it off and said to kiss me on the head and pointed to the top of my head.

Grandpa came with us girls to MDFF. After that mom and I went to Ontario to run some errands. We dropped off Mother's Day cards for great grandma and aunt Treva.

After church we went out to grandma and grandpas and spent the day there. I wished mommy happy Mother's Day many times and gave her a kiss on the arm. She later talked me into at least a kiss on the cheek. I got her a package of gummy bears and the Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakquel :).

For fhe today we were going to have a picnic at the park for fhe, but it rained today. So mom asked me what I wanted to do and I said that I wanted to eat chocolate chips and watched a show, so we did :).

The weather was good today, so we had the picnic at the park we couldn't have yesterday. When mommy was getting our lunch ready for the picnic, I took a pen and drew on a check mom was depositing in the bank today. When she saw what I was doing, I said that I was making it pretty. When I saw mommy's reaction to it, I said, "But it's ok, because I made it pretty, right?" Then on our way out the door I said that I was allergic to babies and then clarified by adding, baby dolls. After the picnic we went to the library. Mommy was amused by my Buzz Lightyear imitation, I hit my chest close fisted and say, "To infinity and beyond" and then usually jump off something.

Mom took me on a bike ride and accidentally fell over and scraped up her elbow. I didn't get hurt, but it scared me and I just wanted to go home after that and held onto mommy's shirt really tight. I can ride my own bike all by myself now, I just need to figure out how to turn around.

We went to Utah this weekend so that I can see daddy and all my family here. When we got back from our trip, mommy was so excited to see stuff actually growing in her vegetable garden I helped her plant!

When we were saying the blessing on the food, I wanted to fold my feet in addition to folding my arms, lol. I also told mom to stay upstairs in the kitchen with me to keep an eye on me when she needed to go down stairs to get something. I later told her, just at random, not to say mean words to her. Along with her relentless stream of questions, if mom tells me that she doesn't know, I'll say, "Tell me, tell me, tell me!" Or if I have a suggestion I'll end it with, "How about that?" The other day I told grammy that their dog Challey was an old dog, old like grandma and grandpa and nana and papa.

This morning I had something and said that it, "Makes my heart feel super happy." On our way to grammy's mom said, "Sadie I need you to be…" and I said, "obedient", lol. She said, "well yes, but…" and finished what she was saying to me :).

After MDFF, we went to the library, and then to see the fourth Shrek!

I'm always telling mom that I don't want her to wipe off my licorices (which are what I call my tears), she asked me why and I said that it was because they are warm.

I was playing with my stuffed kitty, putting it on my shoulders and playing hide and seek with it. I put it under the laundry basket, counted, said ready or not here I come, and then said where did the kitty go?

I started singing the song Handlebars today, it was so funny!

A medicine measuring cup fell into the toilet paper cabinet. When I was going to the bathroom this morning and mom opened the cabinet, I said, "There's something suspicious in there." Mommy took me ice skating for my first time. I didn't like it the first time around, but got better every time after that. By the time our time was up, I was ready to be done. From there we met mom and aunt Treva for dinner for Treva's birthday.

After MDFF, we stopped at the library, and then drove up to McCall for Fallynne Leonard's baby blessing.

I had so much fun today, we went to a hot springs with aunt Treva and uncle Steve. One of them had sand in it and it made me feel like I was at the beach :). When we were in the car, I was playing doctor and was pretending to listen to mom's heart. She asked me how it sounded and I said, ridiculous and then said that it also sounded disastrous. Not a very good diagnosis unfortunately, lol.

We went to Fallyne's blessing. At church, I was drawing on my magna-doodle and drew a line down the middle and a bunch of lines going off it. I told mom it was a map and the line up the middle was the red road (referring to grandpa's gps), and said it was the road to Chuck E Cheese, lol. Then mom and I just hung out, I told mom to pretend that she was a chair and I was a ghost :). In the evening we went to dinner at Candice's parent's.

Mommy was I was working out doing jumping jacks, I told mom that she was good at that and then moved my arms to try and mimic what she was doing. Every time she uses the weights she got recently I pick them up and say I'm pumping up my muscles.

April 2010

Every so often I like to spice things up a bit in how I wake up mommy. So, today I went into her room and said, "Cock-a-doodle-do!" Then I took her blanket off of her and insisted that she get up :). We got to take all of the dogs on a walk today, they always love that and so do I!

It's Easter! When I woke up this morning it was to a surprise of an Easter basket full of goodies at the foot of my bed. I just had to rush into mommy's room to tell her that the Easter Bunny came and hurried her into my room to come and see! After we looked at the stuff in my basket I said thank you to the Easter bunny. Mommy explained to me why we celebrate Easter and told me that Jesus died for us so that we could go to heaven when we die. To which I replied, that I don't want to die. I guess I'll understand this whole concept more when I'm older, not that I'm not a big girl now, but when I'm an even bigger. When mommy was putting me to bed, I helped my ducky say it's prayers and said,"…thank you for the jelly beans….thank you for the food to be ready when it's dark…"

At the store today, I saw a couple of Easter things I wanted. Mommy told me that if I wanted them I had to use her quarters I got in the Easter egg hunt at grandma and grandpa's yesterday. So the lady rang it up and mommy started to count out the quarters. I got a little panicked when I saw how many of my quarters it was taking and exclaimed, "That's enough." When we got home, I request we made cookies for family home evening. After we finished them we went out to grammy and baba's for a little while. And naturally while we were gone the dogs pulled the cookies of the stove and ate them all! In the words of mommy, those little devils!

In looking for mommy this morning, I discovered her outside on the swing and I asked her just, "What do you think you're doing out here" with that tone, you know the one I mean. Lately I've been saying "oh poops" when something goes a rye. When things go wrong something's got to be said, and oh poops just feels right. A little while ago I noticed mommy use a piece of toilet paper to blow her nose with. I figured she was confused and let her know in the previously mentioned tone, "That's for the bummies." She tried to tell me it is a multi-purpose item that has endless possibilities :).

I was watching some of Lion King before bed and during the scene when the lion cubs get in trouble for going beyond the borders I started turning my head and leaning towards the screen and said, "How do I get in there, so I can make them happy."

After MDFF, we went to grammy's for the day. While we were there I wanted mom to sit on some rocks with me and think and would say, "Think, think, think." Then I got some smaller rocks, one for her and one for me and said that they were thinking rocks and tapped it on my cheek while saying, "Think, think, think." They were awfully handy little rocks because they also doubled as a phone!

Mommy was telling grammy about some chest pain she experienced in the middle of the night. I asked mommy if her heart was broken because I heard her mention the term heart burn. So, then I pretended to pull my heart out and said that she could have mine :). I wouldn't want mommy to go around with a broken heart after all.

One of the first things I said when I got up was to ask mommy if it was Clancy's birthday today. And it is! After church we drove over to uncle Clancy's to celebrate his birthday with him. While we were there they asked me if I was going to do some pull ups (on uncle Clancy's pull up bar) and I said that I already have pull ups and pulled my pull ups out of my pants a little and said, "See?" All the way home, I insisted that I wanted to sleep in mommy's car when we got home. So when we got home and mommy got me ready for bed and we took a drive around the block.

For family home evening I wanted to make pancakes, so we got to have pancakes for dinner! I love breakfast for dinner! I have this favorite pair of pajamas. It's the kind with the feet in them, you know the ones I'm talking about? The pink ballerina pajamas I got from grandpa when he dressed up like Santa Clause at Christmas. Anyways, I insist on wearing them just as much as mommy will let me. Mommy says that they are a huge pain to get on and off every time I have to go to the bathroom especially when I kick them all of the way off. So while trying to get them back on me, she expressed that she hates them. When she said that, I told her to be happy, to not be ornery or to hate the pajamas. All wise council I've received from her at one time or another.

I told mommy today, "Let's get this show on the road!"

I think I've decided most definitely that I am obsessed with Halloween. I'm always asking mommy when it will be and what everyone is going to dress up as and what I will be. I said that I will be Cinderella and list everything that I will need for the costume. It is my expert opinion that baba should be superman. What everyone else is, changes from day today. I also told mommy that I'm going to marry a prince but not until I have the proper attire (dress, crown, shoes, etc...) and that we will have a baby named Liza.

There's bad new and there's good news. The bad news is that I have another bladder infection and had it confirmed at the doctor's today. The good news is that it's MDFF and I got to go to the park. Even more so daddy is in town to visit me and I got to see him before I went to bed!

After daddy dropped me off to go home I wanted to get my dress on and go to church and to play in the nursery, but mommy said that they'd already been to church. I was pretty disappointed, but there's always next week.

I tried a most unconventional way of going down the slide. Yeah, face first can only end in tears. Needless to say, I hurt my lip. After I stopped crying I wanted to go back out, but said that I would be careful not to do that again. While playing on the swing set with grammy and baba, grammy was sitting in one of the swings and I told her, "Your butt's too big for that swing." Hmmm…I wonder where I heard that from.

I had so much fun for fhe (family home evening), I got to go to the library to pick out a book and to the park. Then when we got home, mommy filled up my pool so I could play in it! To top it all off, we took the dogs on a walk as per my request.

When we were at church today, I informed mommy that Jesus wants us to sing and to pray :).

Mommy was holding me while I was drinking me sippy. I tried to get her to rock me by moving back and forth, but my subtle hint was not getting through to her, so I just point blank said, "Rock me!" For fhe we went and visited aunt Laree's grave.

I was having a really fantastic stretch when mommy put me in bed and I told her that, "I'm just stretching because I'm tuckered out".

I'm up to my usual mixing up of my wake up routine for mommy. This was my best idea yet. I went outside, rang the doorbell, and then ran inside closing the door behind me and hid by the bookcase. When she came out to see what was going on, I said, "I waked you up!"

I feel like such a big girl today. Mommy created my very own log on account on the computer for me! Something strange happened to my while I was helping mommy plant flowers in the front yard. I decided that I was done and wanted my pajamas back on. When she was changing me mommy noticed that my wrists, which were the only part of my skin exposed, were red and swollen with lumps on them. She gave me some Benadryl and it cleared right up, so it looks like I must be allergic to one of the flowers in the yard, but which one remains a mystery. Later on while I was still working outside, I went inside to get something. When I came back out I had my panties and footie pajamas around her ankles and was otherwise naked. I asked mom for help getting my pajamas back one. While I was inside I went to the bathroom all by myself.

Other exciting news, I am now wearing big girl panties full time. I finally started wearing them at night too. I wasn't very happy about it at first because I wanted to wear my pull ups to bed. But when mommy explained that pull ups were for little girls and conceded because I am after all a big girl now, not little.

I'm so full of questions these days. One of my favorite questions is to ask mommy when I'm watching a show, "Is that a naughty guy or a good guy", about all the characters. I also ask her questions like, "Is that an apple or not", or whatever the case may be. Oh, my heavens, and the question just never stop. For every answer I get from mommy I have at least ten more lined up. There is so much to know and I need to know it all.

The other day when I went to get something while I was eating, I told mom to guard the food. One must have constant vigilance where food is involved with these rascally dogs around. Mom sometimes refers to them as vultures. When I was at grammy and baba's I was being so helpful and helping to feed grandpa his food. In the true spirit of feeding someone else, I made sure that I did all the airplane stuff you're apparently supposed to do when you feed someone else :).

Mommy was talking to Clancy this morning and gave me a kiss. As usual these days, I said not to kiss me. She gave her usual response, "but I love you." So I just told her, "Then don't kiss me." That ought to do the trick. Later, I was helping mommy plant the fruit/vegetable garden I put the seeds in the holes. Much to my pleasant surprise I found a rock. So I dug a hole for the rock, covered it up, and wah-la I planted a rock tree :). Mommy promised me cookies and donuts, and I also wanted pizza, so we went to the store to get some. While we were waiting in line I was asking her, as usual, none stop questions. And do you know what she told me? She said that I had exceeded my question limit for the day! I gave her a funny look, like hey.
